Goldendoodle Beach Resin Wood Mini Tray Art, Real Shells & Sand Catchall Dish, Handcrafted Timber Dog Keepsake Desk Decor Plaque Gift

About this piece

The Story Behind the Piece There is a gentle serenity in the way a faithful dog relaxes after a morning along the water—stretched out comfortably on sun-bleached boardwalk planks, watching the world drift by with quiet contentment. This handcrafted wooden mini tray captures that tranquil, sun-warmed moment in an intimate pet portrait. A golden, curly-coated Doodle pup lounges across pale wooden decking, looking up with big amber eyes, a button nose, and an expression of pure, unconditional devotion. To bring the coastal atmosphere into physical reality, the foreground is accented with authentic natural beach sand, tiny pebbles, and genuine miniature sea shells. Rather than keeping the scene flat, the artwork and organic coastal elements are encased beneath a deep, water-clear pour of artisan casting resin. The thick liquid-glass finish mimics the clear shallows of a calm tide pool, giving realistic depth and luster to the submerged shells while amplifying the creamy, apricot tones of the dog’s fleece coat. Framed within a natural timber tray with gently curved cutout handles and a warm honey-driftwood stain, this piece bridges the gap between functional decor and heirloom pet art. Artisanal Craftsmanship & How It’s Made Every tray is individually assembled, styled, and poured by hand through a dedicated multi-phase technique focusing on archival quality and lasting durability: Woodworking & Shaping: Built from solid natural timber with mitered joinery and sculpted cutout side handles. The exterior is hand-sanded smooth and finished in a warm amber-driftwood wash that highlights the organic grain and subtle knots of the wood. Archival Art Mounting: The Doodle portrait is printed on heavy-weight, acid-free archival substrate using professional-grade pigment inks to ensure soft creams, golds, and blues remain radiant over time without fading. The print is permanently mounted to the interior baseboard. Coastal Embellishment: Genuine tiny seashells and natural sands are arranged by hand along the base to create an authentic shorefront foreground. Deep Resin Flood Coat & Curing: High-clarity, UV-resistant epoxy art resin is measured, hand-blended, and poured across the composition, fully embedding the shells and sealing the art beneath a glossy lens. A flame torch pass releases micro-air bubbles, leaving behind a mirror-like finish. It cures undisturbed for several days in a dust-free chamber to form an impermeable, waterproof shield.
