Artisanal Craftsmanship & How It’s Made Every tray is individually shaped, sealed, and finished by hand through a meticulous multi-phase process prioritizing archival quality and durability: Woodworking & Joinery: Built from solid natural timber with mitered corners and smoothly contoured cutout side handles. The exterior is hand-sanded to a soft touch and treated with a warm amber stain that highlights the wood's organic grain patterns and natural knots. Archival Art Preparation: The Bernese Mountain Dog portrait is printed on premium, heavy-weight acid-free archival stock using professional-grade, fade-resistant pigment inks to guarantee vivid, true-to-life colors for decades. Mounting & Airtight Sealing: The print is securely bonded to the wooden baseboard and sealed around all interior perimeter edges, ensuring zero edge-lifting or bubble migration during the resin pour. Deep Resin Pour & Curing: High-clarity, UV-resistant epoxy art resin is carefully measured, blended, and poured across the tray well. The surface is hand-torched with precision to release micro-bubbles, achieving a crystal-clear, mirror-smooth gloss. It cures over multiple days in a dust-free chamber to form an impermeable, rock-hard shield that protects the artwork against dust, spills, and handling.
